Workforce Development Fly-In 2025

The Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Washington, DC (DGIC) is organizing a DC Fly-In focused on workforce development. This program is open to companies across all industries and provides a unique opportunity to engage directly with key policymakers in Washington, DC.

The Fly-In will take place from September 16-17 and is designed to facilitate meaningful dialogue about the workforce challenges and successes German companies are experiencing. This is a valuable chance to advocate for your needs in face-to-face meetings with decision-makers.

The program begins the evening of Tuesday, September 16 with a welcome briefing at the DGIC office. On Wednesday, September 17, participants will meet with representatives from the U.S. Administration, U.S. Congress, and the German Embassy. The Fly-In will conclude that evening with DGIC’s annual Oktoberfest—an exclusive networking event attended by more than 200 professionals from the policy and business communities across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.

Registration is open through September 1, but we encourage you to register early, as space is limited to 12 participants. The participation fee is $995 and includes all ground transportation, meals, and materials. Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodations.
